All In The Family

AttorneysAt Jorgensen Gibbons, our passion to help people who are injured and disabled is infectious. Through the years, our children have grown up around our practice, interacting with our clients and staff and have grown to love and respect what we do for others. Sharon and Lynn have been both surprised and delighted that their children have decided to follow their path to careers as attorneys so that they can use their talent and intellect for the benefit of the firm and our clients. They have invested their efforts, love and passion into their children over the years and that will pay off in spades as their children are the future of the practice they have grown.

Grady Jorgensen is Sharon's oldest son. He graduated from FSU and then went on to received his J.D. from FAMU Law in Orlando. He has been a practicing associate with the firm since 2015. Grady loves the fact that he has the benefit of both his Mom and her long time partner, Lynn Gibbons' tutelage and guidance with new issues that come up as he practices in personal injury, workers compensation and Social Security Disability cases. Because his practice is so varied, he deals with complex issues on a daily basis and is frequently practicing his skills in court and in depositions. This experience has made him grow in his proficiency very quickly.

Spencer Jorgensen is Sharon's middle son. He graduated from UF and worked as a paralegal handling Social Security Disability claims for the firm before he began law school at his Mom's alma mater, Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport in the Fall of 2015. He continues to work for the firm while he attends law school and plans to graduate early in December, 2017 so that he can join the practice as an associate handling Social Security Disability, workers compensation and personal injury claims.

Katelynn Gibbons is Lynn's oldest child. She graduated from Lynn's alma mater, USF, in just two years. She then worked as a paralegal for the firm handling workers compensation cases until she began law school at her Mom's alma mater, Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, in the Fall of 2015. Her work as a paralegal inspired her to hone her skills as an advocate so that she can be a voice for those who need help when they are going through tough times. She continues to work for the firm as a clerk while she attends law school and will also graduate with her JD in December of 2017. She can't wait to join the practice and help our workers compensation, Social Security Disability and personal injury clients get the benefits, settlements or verdicts they deserve.

Emmitt Jorgensen is Sharon's youngest son. He graduated from FSU in the Spring of 2016 and works as an intern with the firm on personal injury cases. He is attending DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, IL starting in the Fall of 2016. He will continue to work remotely as a legal assistant for the firm while he attends law school. Upon graduation in 2019, Emmitt plans to return to St. Petersburg, FL to join his older brothers and his mother in the firm that she helped build.

Reilly Gibbons is Lynn's second child and oldest son. He attends USF and played football for the South Florida Bulls. After he retired from football due to multiple knee surgeries in January of 2016, he focused his efforts on getting in to law school. Reilly currently works as an intern for the firm assisting with drafting documents and pleadings and legal research for personal injury and social security disability departments. He will be attending the University of Notre Dame's law school beginning in the Fall of 2017, but intends to continue to work for the firm remotely during his time at law school.  Reilly plans to bring his talents and competitive drive back to the Tampa Bay area to practice personal injury, Social Security Disability and workers compensation law along with his Mom and sister at Jorgensen Gibbons upon graduation from law school.

Delanie Gibbons is one of Lynn's twins. After graduating with her A.A. degree from the early college program at St. Petersburg College at the age of 17, Delanie began working for the firm as a legal assistant drafting documents and preparing legal forms in the workers compensation and personal injury departments. While she intends to continue to work for the firm during holiday breaks and over summers, she is also headed to South Bend to the University of Notre Dame to join her twin brother, Dillan, a Notre Dame football player, and her older brother Reilly. She intends to major in political science and apply to law school upon her completion of her degree. In addition to her work in the classroom and at the office, Delanie volunteers for Hospice and is a talented artist.

When you choose Jorgensen Gibbons to represent you on your personal injury, workers compensation or Social Security Disability claim, you are choosing a true family business.
